Terms of service
The terms every order is placed under — what we commit to, what we need from you, who owns the work, and where the limits sit.

1. Who we are
This website is operated by Momentum Research Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17108789, with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean Momentum Research Ltd, and “you” means the person or business placing an order.
You can reach us at info@momentumresearchltd.com. We reply within one working day, Monday to Friday.
2. These terms
These terms apply to every service we provide. By accepting a written scope from us, or by paying an invoice, you agree to them. If you have signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence where the two conflict.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published on the date your order was accepted, and we keep a copy of it.
3. Ordering and acceptance
The prices listed on our website are an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer. A contract is formed only when we send you a written scope — setting out the deliverable, the price, the turnaround and anything excluded — and you accept it in writing or by payment.
We may decline any order. Where we do, we say so promptly and take no payment.
4. Prices and payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are the amount charged.
- Momentum Research Ltd is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our invoices.
- Orders of £150 or less are payable in full at the point of order.
- Orders above £150 are payable 50% on acceptance and 50% on delivery, before final files are released.
- Monthly services are billed on the same date each month until cancelled in accordance with our Founderrefunds and cancellation policy.
- Payment is taken by card through our payment provider. We do not see or store your card details.
- Charges appear on your statement as “MOMENTUM RESEARCH LTD”.
Invoices are due on receipt unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We may suspend work on overdue accounts, and we will tell you before we do.
5. What we need from you
To deliver on time we need the brief, copy, images, brand assets and any account access set out in the scope. You confirm that you have the right to give us everything you send, and that our using it will not infringe anyone else’s rights.
You agree to provide feedback within a reasonable time. If a project is paused at your end for more than 30 days, we may close it and invoice for the work completed to that point; you can restart it later subject to our availability.
6. Turnaround and delivery
Turnaround times are stated in working days against each service and begin on the first working day after we have received everything needed to start. They are commitments we take seriously, but they are estimates rather than guarantees, and they do not run while we are waiting on you.
If we are going to miss a stated date we will tell you before it passes, with a revised date. If a delay caused by us makes the work useless to you, you may cancel and we will refund in full.
7. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included with every deliverable. A round means one consolidated set of feedback, applied in full. Further rounds, or changes that alter the agreed scope, are quoted and approved before they are started. We do not bill for revisions you have not agreed to.
8. Ownership of the work
All intellectual property rights in the final deliverables transfer to you once the invoice for them has been paid in full. Until then, we retain those rights.
We keep ownership of our own pre-existing tools, templates, code libraries and working methods, and of any concepts presented to you but not selected. Where a deliverable includes third-party material — a licensed font, a stock image, a plugin — that material remains subject to its own licence, and we will tell you what those licences are.
We would like to show finished work in our portfolio and will assume we may unless you tell us otherwise. Say the word and we will not.
9. Confidentiality
We treat your commercial information, figures and plans as confidential and will not share them with anyone outside our team without your permission, except where we are required to by law. The same obligation applies to us in reverse.
10. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation rights, deposits and refunds are set out in full in our refunds and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Liability
We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these terms affects a consumer’s statutory rights.
Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the total amount you have paid us for that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss. We are not responsible for the performance of third-party platforms, hosting, advertising networks or payment providers.
Where we advise on marketing or advertising, decisions about spend and about what claims you make remain yours. You are responsible for ensuring your products and claims comply with the law and with the rules of the platforms you advertise on.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, write to info@momentumresearchltd.com. We acknowledge complaints within one working day and aim to resolve them within five. We would always rather hear about a problem early.
13. Data protection
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf as part of a project, we do so only on your instructions and under appropriate written terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
